Started and finished the third Book last week and am half way through the fourth right now. After this one, I'm definitely going to get going on some more off of the list. Right now I'm planning to be starting Frankenstein some time tomorrow. It's relatively short compared with Dracula, probably about half the size, and hopefully it will be just ( Read more... )

After reading and very much enjoying Dracula, I decided to search out some other Dracula literature and found a couple that I was really excited to read. The latest of those books, Dracula The Un-dead, was definitely disappointingly sub-par. It was very badly edited with numerous typos, which was a huge put off for me right away. Last night after finishing the first of the Sookie Stackhouse novels I started the next one, Living Dead in Dallas. Although I just got about 10 pages into it before I was tired enough to go to bed, that was definitely not a reflection on the book at all, only on the hour of night. So, I finally finished reading the Jungle. It wasn't exactly what I expected, as I had heard from several people that it was about turn of the century slaughter houses, but it was about so much more.
